this week's proverb
דער מענטש איז נישט קײַן מלאך און נישט קײַן חיה. דאָס גאַנצע אומגליק איז נאָר אַז ווען ער וויל פון זיך מאַכן אַ מלאך ווערט ער אַ חיה

der mentsh iz nit kayn malekh un nit kayn khaye. dos gantse umglik iz nor az ven er vil fun zikh makhn a malekh vert er a kha'ye

the proverb actually means
man is neither an angel nor an animal. The tragedy is only that when he wants to make himself out to be an angel, he becomes a beast

translated to Hebrew
האדם הוא לא מלאך ולא חיה. הטרגדיה היא כשהוא רוצה להיראות מלאך הוא נהיה חיה
